This Monday, March 20, the Girls to the Front Songwriters Circle is happening at Irene’s Pub along Bank St. Hosted by local singer-songwriter and musician Julie Corrigan, the event will feature live sets by Ottawa-Gatineau artists Catriona Sturton and ENiiD.
This Tuesday, March 22 Folk Music Ontario presents Ottawa folk/pop singer-songwriter Jeremy Fisher live in concert. Jeremy will be playing at Irene’s Pub with Ottawa artists Jill Zmud and Catriona Sturton.
If you’re into punk rock/powerpop/pop punk, you should make your way over to the Rainbow Bistro this Tuesday night to rock out to Cardiff Giant, Wizard Party and Idle Minds.
This Thursday night at Kinki Lounge, there’s going to be a special tribute night for legendary hip hop producer J Dilla who passed away at the young age of 36. The influential artist’s life and music will be celebrated with a specially-curated dinner menu and live music featuring his brother, rapper Illa J, DJ Rhettmatic, Dankery Harv, DJ Soko and DJ Ray Ray.
The Gatineau region is home to many great bands and musicians, and Bonhomme Sept Heures is certainly one of them. The Outaouais-based indie rock band will be releasing its debut EP this Thursday, March 23 at the Pub St-André in the picturesque village of Saint-André Avellin, just 45 minutes from Gatineau.

Friday there’s also a cool show happening at Bar Robo. It’s happening as part of All Day Breakfast’s “All The Rage” EP Release Tour and the Toronto/Ottawa garage rock band will be sharing the stage with Toronto garage rock trio Crazy Bones and Ottawa garage rockers Ornaments.
